CHILD CARE FACILITY
July 31, 2000 Update
CHILDCARE FACILITIES MOVES CLOSER TO OPENING.
Grass pave has been laid down and readied to receive plants in the islands contained within the main fire lane to the Childcare facilities. Grass pave is the material that will support the weight of fire trucks while allowing aesthetically pleasing groundcover to be grown within the cement driveway. Soil preparation is underway for an all-season lawn to be put in around all the buildings. Facilities Management & Planning staff is gearing up for work on the storage shed and roofed sandboxes. LCC carpenters are installing cabinets and countertops in Building #3. Casework installation is underway in Building #4.
