CHILD CARE FACILITY
June 19, 2000 Update
WORK ON ACCESS LANE FOR CHILDCARE BUILDINGS IS UNDERWAY.
A road that will accommodate service vehicles as well as provide a fire lane entrance to all the Childcare buildings is being developed in readiness for the pouring of concrete. Exterior painting on all buildings is 95% complete.
Building #1, is completely occupied as staff from both Early Childhood Education and the Child Development Center have moved out of their offices in the Health Tech building and into their new offices adjacent to Lane Family Connections.
Building #2, continues to be on schedule for a June occupancy by the Infant Toddler Center as finishing touches are being carried out.
Building #3, which will house the services of both Early Childhood Education and the Child Development Center, is in the stages of suspended ceiling and light work that will enable floor covering to be laid shortly.
Building #4, the ASLCC Childcare Co-op awaits a move in; as painting has been completed and ceiling insulation is underway.
