General Comments
The Art Department kilns are being relocated to the west end of the paved yard between the Air Technology and Machine Technology buildings. The new location is scheduled to be ready for occupancy by December 1.
Expenditures of Bond Project
funds have just gone over the 20% mark.
The Bond Management Team continues to coordinate with Campus Facilities and Curriculum and Scheduling to work out procedures for the moves which various Departments will have to make. The function of moving will be done by professional movers. Packing and unpacking will be done by college personnel.
The college facilities carpentry shop continues to produce high quality cabinets for all of the projects.
The college electricians have installed the transformer for the Child Care Center and will do the same for the Addition to the Campus Services Building. They are also being considered to install the high voltage line to the Welding Technology Building. This would necessitate a short-term electrical shut down to a portion of the college. By having the college electricians perform this work the college saves thousands of dollars.
