Bond Update - September 22, 1999
Campus Services contractor to set up:
McKenzie Commercial Contractors will set up for Campus Services addition construction on September 22 or 23. They will set up a job shack and possibly some temporary fencing. Site excavation could begin early the week of September 27.
The Lane Community College Board of Education awarded the $903,400 construction contract to McKenzie at its September 8 meeting.
The project architect is WEGROUPpc/ARCHITECTS AND PLANNERS. The addition will be on the east side of the existing Campus Services building and will house Laundry, which will relocate from the Health Technology Building first floor, and Printing/Graphics, which will relocate from the Center Building basement. The relocations will create more space for instructional purposes.
