Bond Update - September 3, 1999
LTD BUS STOP SCHEDULED TO MOVE.
After the main campus ground-breaking ceremony on September 13, 1999, and prior to the beginning of classes on September 20th, LTD's route and loading zone will return to it's original location next to the Apprenticeship Building. LTD will remain at the original location during fall term and move back to the temporary location in front of the fountain when construction begins on the new Student Services and Workforce Training Center during winter term, 2000. While deliberations for a permanent route and loading zone are ongoing, LTD will maintain service at the fountain location. Safety upgrades made to the fountain location during fall term '99 will include speed bumps, signs, cautionary, painted walkways and the roadway height made equal to the curb height.
The Bond Project Management Team (BPMT) will be available during summer hours to provide information and answer any questions that may arise. All communication received by the BPMT during summer months will be reviewed regularly by the team, the architects, and the Facilities Management Committee.
