Bond Update - August 23, 1999ELECTRICAL CONNECTION REQUIRES POWER SHUT DOWN.Within the next two weeks, LCC's electricians will need power turned off for a short time to a section of the main campus in order for connection to be made to the 13,000-volt electrical distribution system. Connection will allow the electricians to run electrical lines to the transformer that will supply power to the Child Care Center. It is anticipated that for 24 hours during the weekend of August 28th/29th OR September 4th/5th, electricity will be shut off to the Forum building, Industrial Technologies, and Apprenticeship and Annex buildings. Notification of the specific date will be provided upon determination. WORK ON ALL-WEATHER GRAVEL LOTS NEARS COMPLETION. An earlier than anticipated start date has allowed contractors to finish their developmental portion of the additional, all-gravel parking lots. Shortly, gravel lots will be completed with the installation of concrete wheel stops by Facilities Management staff. The Bond Project Management Team (BPMT) will be available during summer hours to provide information and answer any questions that may arise. All communication received by the BPMT during summer months will be reviewed regularly by the team, the architects, and the Facilities Management Committee.
