Fundamental Progress ContinuesAmidst the high temperatures of mid-August, surveying and subsoil investigation of LCC's main campus continues. The Bond Management Team expects to receive final proposals from the geotechnical inspection by Friday, August 14th.Additionally, preliminary site layout for the Florence Outreach Center Addition will begin the week of August 17th. The center was designed by Berry Architects of Eugene, Oregon. As cited in the Daily, Korrina Bagley has been hired as the Support Specialist for the Bond Management. Among other duties, Korrina will be responsible for the project calendar, budgeting and coordinating meetings with the architects, faculty and staff. Those individuals interested in setting appointments or contacting Paul Colvin should contact Korrina at 744-4154, or Ext. 2727 if calling from campus. The Bond Management Team (BMT) will be available at 744-4154 or 747-4501 Ext. 2727 during summer hours to answer any questions and give information. All communication received by the BMT during the summer months will be reviewed regularly by the team, the architects and the Facilities Management Committee. | |
