Survey Work & Soil Testing ContinuesBranch Engineering continues to make progress surveying new construction sites on campus. The Welding facility, which will be positioned on a knoll on the northeast side of campus, will have survey work completed this coming week.Biggs Cardosa Associates are just completing their investigation of the subsoil for the Campus Services East Addition. Within the next two weeks, the Bond Management will award a contract for geotechnical inspection of the remainder of LCC's main campus. gLAs architects continue to meet weekly with the Bond Management Team and are proceeding with Design Development while exploring building and structural concepts. The Bond Management Team (BMT) will be available at 744-4154 or 747-4501 Ext. 2727 during summer hours to answer any questions and give information. All communication received by the BMT during the summer months will be reviewed regularly by the team, the architects and the Facilities Management Committee. | |
