Archive of Bond 1995 - Bond Status Report - 05/08/2002
The following Bond 1995 Projects Status Report was presented to the Lane Community College Board of Education at its May 8, 2002 meeting.
Main Campus Projects:
Workforce Training:
Roofing, exterior envelope, exterior rough grading, store-front windows and brick veneer and interior framing are 100% complete, installation of doors is 95 % complete and floor coverings are 15% complete. Drywall is 97% complete and painting is 95% complete. Installation of casework is starting. Mechanical is 95% and electrical is 95% complete. Exterior rough grading is complete. On exterior elevator, roofing, windows and brick veneer are 100% complete. Completion of project is scheduled for June 17, 2002.
Center Building, 2nd floor North remodel-Phase 2:
Metal wall framing, drywall installation and electrical rough-in are all complete. Installation of suspended ceilings has begun. Sheetmetal ductwork is 95%, HVAC units have arrived and have been hung. Trades are working to complete project by June 17th, 2002.
Center Building, 4th Floor Remodel:
Architects and engineers have completed 50% level construction documents and construction cost estimator is estimating cost. Bond office has found temporary space for most 4th floor occupants. Search for remaining space continues.
Sewage Lagoon Upgrade:
Nothing new to report. Still waiting for DEQ's Response to our upgrade plan.
Library:
Nothing new to report. Plans to remodel Library this summer continue to move forward.
Building #11, 2nd Floor Remodel (Art & GED Building) and Business Building Remodel:
Plans on hold pending resolution of program cuts/reductions.
General Comments:
The Welding Technology Building, Addition to Campus Services Building, Parking Lot Improvements, Child Care Center, Math-Science Addition, Bus Station, Student Services Building, Central Plant Upgrade, Phase 1, Health Tech., Center building 2nd floor north, Phase 1, P.A.-P.E. ramp, the Addition to Performing Arts and Central Plant Upgrade have all been completed.
