Archive of Bond 1995 - Bond Status Report - 04/10/2002
The following Bond 1995 Projects Status Report was presented to the Lane Community College Board of Education at its April 10, 2002 meeting.
Main Campus Projects:
Workforce Training:
Roofing, exterior envelope, store-front windows and brick veneer are 100% complete, installation of doors is 94 % complete and interior framing is 99% complete. Drywall is 97% complete and painting is 70% complete. Mechanical is 90% and electrical is 90% complete. Exterior rough grading is complete. On exterior elevator, roofing, windows and brick veneer are 100% complete. Walks and steps around elevator are operational. Elevator is scheduled to be operational in April. Completion of project is scheduled for June 10, 2002.
Center Building, 2nd floor North remodel-Phase 2:
Metal wall framing has been completed and drywall is 85% complete. Sheetmetal ductwork is 95%, HVAC units have been ordered and are scheduled to arrive May 5th. Electrical rough-in is 100% complete. Project is on schedule to be completed June 1st, 2002.
Center Building, 4th Floor Remodel:
Architects and engineers are preparing construction documents. Documents are scheduled to reach 50% completion by mid April. Bond office continues to search for temporary space for 4th floor occupants. A 12 month construction period is planned starting next September.
Sewage Lagoon Upgrade:
DEQ Response to LCC lagoon upgrade plan isn't expected for several months.
Library:
Plans to remodel Library are moving forward. Major part of remodel is the creation of an electronic classroom and replacement of Circulation and Reference Desks. Project is scheduled to be done by college trades this summer.
Building #11, 2nd Floor Remodel (Art & GED Building) and Business Building Remodel:
Plans on hold pending resolution of program cuts/reductions.
General Comments:
The Welding Technology Building, Addition to Campus Services Building, Parking Lot Improvements, Child Care Center, Math-Science Addition, Bus Station, Student Services Building, Central Plant Upgrade, Phase 1, Health Tech., Center building 2nd floor north, Phase 1, P.A.-P.E. ramp, the Addition to Performing Arts and Central Plant Upgrade have all been completed.
