Archive of Bond 1995 - Bond Status Report -02/13/2002

The following Bond 1995 Projects Status Report was presented to the Lane Community College Board of Education at its March 14, 2000 meeting.

Main Campus Projects:

Workforce Training:
Roofing, exterior envelope, store-front windows and brick veneer are 100% complete, installation of doors is 90 % complete and interior framing is 95% complete. On exterior elevator, roofing and brick veneer are 100% complete, windows are 80% complete. Completion of building is scheduled for April 9, 2002. Elevator cab has been installed and is ready for review by state elevator inspectors. Concrete walks and steps has started. Completion of elevator is scheduled for late January, 2002.

Performing Arts Addition:
Contractor has completed work. LCC crews are installing casework, accessories and furnishings.

Central Plant Upgrade, Phase 2, Heating Water Improvements:
The project is waiting on parts ordered from the east coast.

Center Building, 2nd floor North remodel-Phase 2:
Demolition phase has been completed. Metal framing of interior walls is 95% complete. Ceiling structure over Lobby classrooms has been completed. Electrical rough-in is well underway.

Center Building, 4th Floor Remodel:
After several meetings with the 4th floor PUG's and considerable work with the architects and engineers a floor plan has been achieved which meets the budget. Both the Social Science and English, Foreign Language & Speech PUG's are satisfied with the plan. The project schedule calls for this remodel to be done in two phases. The first phase should start late this summer and the second phase should be completed late next year.

Archives:
Awaiting the results of the college restructuring plan.

Sewage Lagoon Upgrade:
Weber Elliott, the engineers employed by the college to upgrade the sewer lagoon system, have submitted the Final Plan with supporting data to DEQ. This document is very technical and voluminous. Over the next approximately 6 months DEQ personnel will be reviewing the plan. DEQ's approval is expected in early August. Preliminary plans and specifications for the upgrade will be started after DEQ's approval.


General Comments:

The Welding Technology Building, Addition to Campus Services Building, Parking Lot Improvements, Child Care Center, Math-Science Addition, Bus Station, Student Services Building, Central Plant Upgrade, Phase 1, Health Tech. all Phases, Center building 2nd floor north, Phase 1 and P.A.-P.E. ramp have all been completed.
