Archive of Bond 1995 - Bond Status Report -01/09/2002
The following Bond 1995 Projects Status Report was presented to the Lane Community College Board of Education at its March 14, 2000 meeting.
Main Campus Projects:
Workforce Training:
Roofing, exterior envelope, store-front windows and brick veneer are 100% complete, installation of doors is 90 % complete and interior framing is 95% complete. On exterior elevator, roofing and brick veneer are 100% complete, windows are 80% complete. Completion of building is scheduled for April 9, 2002. Elevator cab has been installed and is ready for review by state elevator inspectors. Concrete walks and steps has started. Completion of elevator is scheduled for late January, 2002.
Performing Arts Addition:
Construction is proceeding on schedule. Completion date remains January 24, 2002.
Central Plant Upgrade, Phase 2, Heating Water Improvements:
The project has been delayed about 3 weeks because some critical elements which have long lead times were not ordered early enough by the contractor. Substantial completion has been changed to January 15th.
Center Building, 2nd floor remodel-Phase 2:
At the date of this writing an unexpected requirement from the Building Department has to be resolved before they will issue the building permit. It is hoped that this requirement will be resolved by the time the Board meets. Bids for the HVAC work have been received and await your award of contract action. Completion is expected in May, 2002.
Center Building, 4th Floor Remodel:

Archives:
Awaiting the results of the college restructuring plan.
Sewage Lagoon Upgrade:
After reviewing several options the Bond Project Management Team agrees with the recommendation of the consulting engineer which is to upgrade the existing sewer lagoon treatment system by installing a Package Treatment Plant. Engineering expertize for this project comes from Weber Elliot Engineers and Jerry Elliot is with us tonight to give you a brief description of the recommended improvements, their estimated cost and a rough time schedule.
Seismic Upgrade:
Presented under Discussion/Action part of this Agenda.
General Comments:
The Welding Technology Building, Addition to Campus Services Building, Parking Lot Improvements, Child Care Center, Math-Science Addition, Bus Station, Student Services Building, Central Plant Upgrade, Phase 1, Health Tech. all Phases, Center building 2nd floor north, Phase 1 and P.A.-P.E. ramp have all been completed.
