What is a Metacourse?
A metacourse is a parent course which combines two or more sections in Moodle. If you are teaching more then one section of the same course, this allows you to deliver one copy of the course content to all the sections. The child sections handle enrollment, while the parent metacourse handles the content.
Requesting a Metacourse
If you need a metacourse, please email atc@lanecc.edu and include the following information:
- The metacourse number and title (e.g., HST 414: Intellectual History)
- The CRNs of ALL of the child sections
