Google Docs
Google Docs is a free, Web-based word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, drawing and form application offered by Google. It allows users to create and edit documents online while collaborating in real-time with other users. Jump down to Files and Resources to get started with Google Docs or view the video Google Docs in Plain English for a quick, fun overview.
What do I need to get started?
All you need is a gmail account (Google email) and a web browser. There is no need to create a new account if you already have one.
To create an account go to: http://gmail.com and choose the link "Create a New Account" in the lower right corner of your screen. Follow the directions and you'll be up and running in no time. To access your account at a later date go to http://docs.google.com or http://gmail.com. You will be asked to login with your email and password. Once you are logged in you will see the Google Docs access and tools in the upper left corner.
