Sustainability Group Goals
2004/2005

• 10% energy use reduction by June 30, 2005.

• 10% water use reduction by June 30, 2005

• 5% recycling rate increase by June 30, 2005

• Increase opportunities for and awareness of transportation options other than single occupant vehicle trips.
• Obtain data on vehicle trips to campus and develop a system where this data can easily be gathered periodically so that the effectiveness of the transportation projects can be measured in future years.

• Determine funding strategy for a central irrigation control computer.
• Increase the use of native plants on campus.
• Harvest rainwater in the fall, winter, and spring to use for irrigation in the summer.
