Two new trustees named to Lane Community College Foundation board
EUGENE - Ian Richardson and Rosaria Haugland have been appointed to serve on the Lane Community College Foundation Board of Trustees.
Richardson is an attorney and partner with Gleaves Swearingen Potter & Scott in Eugene. He is vice president-elect of the Eugene Estate Planning Council and president-elect of the Eugene-Springfield Tax Association. He also serves on the steering committee of the Lane County chapter of the Software Association of Oregon and is secretary of the Probate Section of the Lane County Bar Association.
Haugland retired in 2003 as part owner of Molecular Probes in Eugene. She currently manages the Rosaria P. Haugland Foundation. She also serves on the board of directors for WomenSpace, the community board for US Bank and the advisory board for Eugene Opera. She is president of the Lord Leebrick Theatre board of directors.
"We are extremely gratified to have representation from such knowledgeable community leaders," says Foundation chair David Blewett. "Their involvement and insight will contribute significantly to the Foundation's efforts to ensure a bright future for Lane as it transforms lives through learning."
Governed by a 24-member Board of Trustees, the LCC Foundation provides individuals, corporations, foundations and groups with the opportunity to support the educational programs of Lane Community College. The foundation is a 501(c) (3) organization.
