Distance Learning is now LaneOnline

The Distance Learning department has adopted a new name and a new focus. We will continue to offer the same services, courses, and assistance as always, but we are positioning for evolution as well.

LaneOnline is a strategic step toward (1) the blended model of technology enhanced learning and (2) exploration of emerging technologies.

We have ideas and plans in motion, but would like to hear what you think too.

:a mix of instructional techniques and technologies which may be delivered in a variety of combinations; blending face-to-face instruction, web based instruction, and new-media; the integration of computers, smartphones, television, videoconferencing and other emerging electronic media with traditional teaching & learning.

:an amalgamation of Collaboration and Laboratory; community research, discovery, and invention; crowd-sourcing of big ideas; fostering and rewarding innovation from the community.
