Partnerships Build Success
If you could draw the idea of partnership, you would find yourself with a sketch of the Lane Community College Downtown Campus.
Without the support of our partners, the lot at 10th and Charnelton would still be an empty pit. Instead, it's an active construction site that soon will be home to our region’s newest center for education, business and community.
Lane is grateful to the City of Eugene, the State of Oregon, U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley, U.S. Representative Peter DeFazio, Eugene Water and Electric Board, Robertson/Sherwood Architects, Lease Crutcher Lewis Construction, and the citizens and voters of the college district.
We'd like to invite donors to join the partnership through naming opportunities now available for the campus. For more information, contact Foundation Director Janet Anderson at (541) 463-5803.
If you haven't been by the site lately, it's worth a visit. The buildings are going up fast. If you can't visit, catch the webcam at 2011sitearchive.lanecc.edu/dc/video.html.
The Downtown Campus will increase training and services at an accessible, convenient location, meet sustainability goals, and help revitalize downtown. The project is a landmark development for education, business, and the community. Truly, we are building this together.
