Tuition Policy Recommendation
Marie Matsen met briefly with BAG to give feedback from the Executive Team on BAGís initial tuition policy and recommendations to ET.  Marie said that ET wished to meet with BAG before a specific recommendation on tuition was made for 2002-03.

After some discussion, BAG agreed to make the following changes to the initial recommendation to the Executive Team:  On the Tuition Policy page, 2nd paragraph,  reverse the order of  a) and b).  On the Recommendations page, #1 is changed to state:
An immediate one-time adjustment, effective the beginning of the 2002-03 academic year (Summer Term 2002), in order to ensure that tuition revenues are appropriate for the needs of the college.  

New Member Recruitment
Nanci LaVelle has given notice that she will no longer serve on BAG.  Donna Zmolek will advise Steve John and Cheryl Roberts that there is a vacancy on BAG for an Instructional manager.  

Budget Policy Issues from May 2001
Kaaren OíRourke handed out copies of the above topic that was prepared for the May 2001 Board meeting.  The sheet listed a number of budget issues that may still require some work from BAG.  Terry will have Marie review this sheet and give BAG her sense of priority for these issues.

BAG expects to return to the ìNew Revenuesî discussion after the Board determines if a tuition increase will occur in 02-03.
 

The next BAG meeting will be March 20, 2-5PM, BUS 205.
