The Budget advisory Group hereby makes the following recommendations:

1. An immediate one-time adjustment, effective the beginning of the 2002-03 academic year (Summer Term 2002), in order to ensure that tuition revenues are appropriate for the needs of the college.  

2. The elimination of the current reciprocity agreement with neighboring states.  These students would be required to pay out-of-state tuition.  Our neighboring states do not offer Lane County students an in-state tuition.

3. The elimination of the senior tuition discount.  This recommendation is a reflection of the following:

a. Demographic data.
b. Availability of alternative offerings in the community.
c. Equal accessibility for all students.
