BUDGET LEADERS TEAM

Members:

  • Vice President for Instruction
  • Vice President for College Operations
  • Assistant to the President
  • Budget Analyst (ex officio)
Purpose:  The Budget Leaders make budget recommendations to the college Budget Committee (as legally constituted according to Oregon Local Budget Law).  Those recommendations are contained in the Budget Document.

The Budget Leaders analyze the collegeís financial and budget data as prepared by the Budget Analyst.  Divisions and Departments provide requests for additional budget to the Budget Leaders Team.  They also provide recommendations for budget reductions as necessary.  The Budget Leaders consider funding needs for the college that are beyond division/department budgets.  After considering all the needs of the college, the Budget Leaders prepare specific recommendations that will be presented to the Budget Committee.

The Budget Leaders are responsible for communicating with the college staff and students throughout the budget development cycle.  The Budget Leaders also meet with Budget Committee members to explain the budget recommendations and answer questions.
