Accreditation at Lane
Lane Community College is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU). As part of the accreditation process, the staff, students, faculty, administrators and Board of Education at Lane Community College examine the mission, goals, operations and achievements of the college which fosters excellence through the development of criteria for assessing educational quality and instructional effectiveness. Through the process of self examination and peer evaluation, the college community participates in a focused process that results in ongoing instutuional improvement, increased student mobility between institutions, and the maintenance of a rich learning environment.
To support the ongoing work of self evalutation and continuous improvement, the Accreditation Coordinationg team has been established.
